Ready, set, form your lots!
productionManager: Lot generation at the click of a button!
Managing individual orders clearly and easily in productionManager — no problem! The brand-new lot generation function now offers a further benefit: from now on, you can easily combine your orders into production lots!
This not only increases productivity, but also reduces your material consumption, as orders can be intelligently bundled and transferred directly to a cutting optimization of your choice.
Create lots and save money
Lot generation supports you in organizing and creating your production lots. You get an overview of your orders to be planned and you can combine them into production lots with just one click. Your production lots are displayed directly in productionManager and there is a clear overview that makes their management easy. This means that every employee knows the status of a production lot (e.g. New/Ready for production/In production) as well as when a production lot is fully completed at all times.
The new function also allows you to bundle orders based on important key figures (e.g. the same board or edge material). This significantly reduces your material consumption, as orders with the same materials are optimized together. Not only do you save money, but you also increase your productivity, because parts with the same board and edge materials go into production together. This allows setup processes for division (cutting and nesting) and on the edge banding machine to be reduced. Other interesting key figures, such as the quantity of items of furniture to be assembled, make the effects of the lots you have formed on production immediately visible.
Another highlight is that your production lots can be transferred directly to a cutting optimization of your choice and processed directly from there.
If you work with the cutting optimization intelliDivide Cutting or Nesting, your production lot is transferred directly with one click and the optimization starts automatically if chosen — without you having to do any manual steps in between or having to open the intelliDivide app at the same time.
If you are using Cut Rite or another cutting optimization, you can export the cutting list as a CSV file and import it into your optimization without any problems.
